The current privacy policy explains what personal information DevScope collects from you when using or accessing Talent Hunting, a website developed and operated by DevScope, and how that data is used, accessed, disclosed, and stored. Personal information is data that can be used to identify and/or contact a single person.
You may be asked to provide DevScope your personal information when in contact with any of our products or websites. Such information will always be used in compliance with the current Privacy Policy.
You are not required to grant DevScope any information we may request, but, if you choose to do so, we may not be able to provide you some products and services.
We collect as little personal information as possible and do it to provide our users with the best possible experience.
When a user registers for Talent Hunting, DevScope collects the user’s email and username provided or associated with the third-party service used to login. This information is used to identify the user and send them notifications regarding Talent Hunting such as updates or policy changes.
Talent Hunting also uses a cookie (a small text file) with the sole purpose of facilitating the authentication process of returning users. Please refer to your browser's policy to learn how to disable and delete cookies.
Talent Hunting uses services provided by third-party entities, namely:
· Microsoft unified login authentication, to create a new account with the name and email associated with a user’s Microsoft account. Please refer to Microsoft’s privacy statement by clicking here. Talent Hunting users who use Microsoft’s unified login authentication service must adhere to that service’s respective policies. Optionally, users can associate the Microsoft calendar with the Talent Hunting calendar. Events are then synced across the selected calendars. Additionally, and optionally, users can see, reply to, and delete emails related to Talent Hunting activities. These emails are filtered by Category. The emails are never stored within Talent Hunting.
· Google sign-in for websites, to create a new account with the name and email associated with a user’s Google account. Please refer to Google’s privacy statement by clicking here. Talent Hunting users who use the Google sign-in for websites service must adhere to that service’s respective policies. Optionally, users can associate the Google calendar with the Talent Hunting calendar. Events are then synced across the selected calendars. Additionally, and optionally, users can see, reply to, and delete emails related to Talent Hunting activities. These emails are filtered by Label. The emails are never stored within Talent Hunting. Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models
DevScope does not share user data with a third-party and is not responsible for the use or misuse of any personal data by third-party service providers.
DevScope works hard to protect you and your data from unauthorized access to the information you supply us.
All collected information from DevScope users is encrypted but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure.
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your personal data is processed and retained for the purposes listed above, conferring DevScope grounds of “Legitimate Interest” for personal data under article 6 of the GDPR.
DevScope has procedures in place to deal with suspected of data security breach. All affected parties in a data breach will be notified, as well as all regulators required by law.
DevScope has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who, in short, is responsible for:
· Inform and advise the Management and employees of Talent Hunting regarding their obligations regarding the protection of the personal data they process;
· Monitor the compliance of internal practices with the Regulation and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements in the field of data protection;
· provide internal advice on data protection impact assessments for new services or infrastructures or changes thereto;
· Cooperate with the supervisory authority – in Portugal this authority is entrusted to the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD);
· To be a point of contact with the CNPD for questions related to the processing of personal data or to consult it.
